Festival International du Film de Bruxelles is looking for submissions!

The team from Festival International du Film de Bruxelles (FIFB) is pleased to announce that the 2015 edition of the new Brussels festival will take place from November 17 to 21.


This year, the Festival International du Film de Bruxelles and will celebrate 40 years of independent filmmaking and will pay a tribute to this cinema. The FIFB aims to offer its own International Film Festival in Brussels, like other major cities in Belgium, Europe or Worldwide. A festival opens to the world, in line with the new cinematic trends, eclectic in its programming while keeping an eye for auteur cinema, for exclusivities and favorites.


The FIFB offers 3 official competitions:


  • International Competition (features films)
  • The Belgian competition (shorts fiction or animation)
  • Talent competition (movies made by final-year film students).


These competitions are open to all. For the sake of inclusion, there is no specific section dedicated to deaf or hard of hearing filmmakers. Deaf  people or hard of hearing people are warmly invited to send us their films that can compete in the three competitions.
