DESCRIPTION Enhanced filmmaking skills designed to allow the graduate to enter into a career in film, television or video production. Introduction to filmmaking skills: Directing, Producing, Screenwriting, Cinematography, Sound, and Editing to become an independent filmmaker. Basics of independent filmmaking from start to finish, culminating in the creation of a student film in drama, comedy, or horror. Intensive program, offering theoretical, practical, and performance training to prepare students for a professional acting career. Introduction to acting, movement and voice, preparing students for public and on-camera performances. On-camera preparation and practice, with a focus on script and character analysis, scene work, optimal believability, and the balance between technical and artistic considerations.
