IAFT Hosts Remarkable ‘Secrets of Casting’ Seminar with Actors Access, Breakdown Services & CastingAbout!

Categories: Blog,Uncategorized

The International Academy of Film and Television’s Los Angeles campus recently hosted an informative seminar titled “Secrets of the Casting Process.” By collaborating with the some of the industry’s leaders in online casting, IAFT helped about 50 local actors drastically improve their chances at being selected for that special audition.

Blair Hickey and Brian Wold (founders of CastingAbout) along with Gary Marsh (founder of Actors Access and Breakdown Services) led this seminar and shared the behind-the-scenes process that most casting directors use when sorting through submissions. The live demonstration taught effective ways for actors to market themselves and gave tips to avoid common mistakes.
