FILM SEMINAR with Industry Veteran Frederick Bailey

After not only surviving but thoroughly enjoying multiple low-budget productions with legendary independent Producer Roger Corman, Bailey will share his point of view on how to get movies made on a reasonable budget.  Bailey made his debut as a feature director with SHOGUN COP, a fantasy/adventure unveiled at the Tokyo International Fantastic Film Festival.  He’s served as screenwriter on 23 movies that have made it to the screen and on 18 documentaries.  He’s also directed short videos, industrials and stageplays, and been an actor, associate producer, post-production coordinator, ADR coordinator, and grip.  He’s done movies in Asia and Eastern Europe, Hollywood and Arizona, El Monte and Big Bear.  He wrote, directed and on-screen hosted two 45-minute educational documentaries for IAFT: DIRECTING and SCREENWRITING.  He’s taught directing, screenwriting and acting in Japan and the Philippines.  He comes armed with myriad war stories and insider tips.
